Dendrological Garden
The Dendrological Garden is the closest oasis of peace and calm, a mere stone’s throw from the hotel. Over an area of 73 hectares, you will find 20 related thematic groups with extensive meadow plants and the Black Fishpond with beds of perennials on its banks. The Black Stream runs from this with a cascade of reservoir basins. Rare plants from the mountain areas of Asia and North America are grown in the area below the fishpond. Rhododendrons and azalea are concentrated in the forest growth on the west side of the garden, these ranking among the most abundant collections in the garden. The Dendrological Garden holds around 5,000 taxa of tree species and perennials, making it one of the largest collections of decorative plants in the Czech Republic.
